Crescentia Neroberg Riesling Dry Kabinet Kloster Eberbach 13.5% 75cl

Produced from small and extremely expressive Riesling grapes - this wine has wonderfully exotic fruit aromas, a peachy ripeness, vibrant acidity and great finesse.

Producer Details
The monastery at Kloster Eberbach (Rheingau) was established by Cistercian monks from Burgundy in 1136, bringing with them vines, expertise and laying the foundation for Pinot Noir production in Germany. Today the estate, managed by Dieter Greiner covers 500 acres (380 acres Riesling / 80 acres Pinot Noir) and as a founding member of the VDP (Germany's finest estates) its acclaimed by journalists worldwide. The estates vineyards sites along the Rhine are managed by Stefan Seyffardt, including the monopole of Steinberg, Centgericht and Neroberg.

In the Vineyard
Grapes are sourced from this old, volcanic site in Wiesbaden - where vines have grown since the 15th century. The Neroberg vineyard is just 4 hectares, planted with 18 different Riesling clones - later ripening, and therefore the last in the vineyard to be picked.
