Arrete Reposado is produced in Santiago de Tequila; the Mexican town that is the origin of this unique drink and which has been granted World Heritage status.
The distillery has a small annual production and uses only traditional methods.
The agave used in the production of this tequila is exclusively cultivated in fields in the outskirts of the town. It has a relatively high fibre content and low water content, which often adds aromas of citrus and herbs. Prior to distillation, it is cooked in a pressure cooker, which enhances the finished aromas.
Arette Reposado is aged up to six months in oak bourbon casks.
