Bright and lifted shiraz with aromas of summer fruit pudding, mulberry and black pepper. The palate offers notes of vanilla and chocolate, combining elegance and length on the finish.
In the Vineyard
Our Shiraz is sourced from McLaren Vale, from the cooler Seaview and Kangarilla districts under the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges which are noted for producing some of Australia's finest Shiraz.
In the Winery
The Shiraz grapes were fermented in temperature-controlled tanks maintained at 22 - 25C to avoid extracting any harsh tannins, with the fermentations pumped over to extract good colour. 20% of the final blend is barrel aged.
