Description

From one of the Loire's oldest and most reliable sparkling wine producers. This wine displays an attractive light fizz and nutty freshness backed up by great fruit structure. A subtle touch of honey characteristics creates a distinctive medium dry finish to the palate.

Producer Details

Founded in 1811, this is the oldest sparkling-wine house in Saumur and one of the biggest of the Loire negociants. Experience and tradition, as well as technological. advances in terms of winemaking techniques, are at the heart of their authenticity. They are also strongly committed to the protection of terroirs through sustainable winegrowing. These farming practices are used by partner winegrowers and guarantee the phytosanitary quality of the harvests, while respecting the character of each selected terroir. Increasingly, the wine is made by the company in its own wineries; as a result, quality has improved dramatically.
