Description
This deep red wine presents luscious aromas and flavors of cherries, blackberries, cedar, and smoky tar. Its tremendous concentration of flavors is revealed in firm tannins with a soft and silky texture and a long finish.
Riverside related soils, alluvial, stony, poor in nutrients and highly permeable due to the gravel sub-soil. Produces plants of frugal growth bearing clusters of small, concentrated and ripe grapes.
Climate
:Semi arid Mediterranean. Influenced by the Andes, this is the coolest part of the Maipo Valley. An ample day-to-night temperature variation pattern stretches grape ripening, concentrating fruit and intensifying aromas.
