Description

A Decanter 5 Star wine 2012- TASTING NOTES (Decanter, March 2012):"High-toned baked fruit, spice, raisin, mint and vanilla on the nose. Super

wine which is sweet, upfront and approachable. Tipically supple and juicy balanced with crisp acidity and chalky tannins. Elegant.

The ageing of this reserva wine was in casks made of French and American oak for a period of eighteen months, completing its ageing process in the bottle cellar, once bottled. In order to preserve the rich aromatic qualities of this wine, we followed a process of natural stabilisation.

Bodegas Darien blends all the traditional essence of Rioja wine from the most ultra-modern vision of winemaking, both in terms of the wines

themselves and of the building which would be their home. If the outside design of the bodega has been conceived to blend into the landscape,

its interior has been perfectly designed to house all the processes and technology necessary for making wines of the highest quality.

Varieties: Tempranillo / Garnacha / Mazuelo / Graciano (depending on the harvest)
