Description
The history of Chteau Suduiraut, in Sauternes, goes back centuries. After the total destruction of the property by the Duke dEpernon in the 1600s, Count Blaise de Suduiraut replanted the vineyard and restored the estate to its former glory. The Chteau is a superb example of 18th century architecture. Aristocratic, classical, and bright in style, the Chteau is surrounded by charming gardens designed by Le Ntre. The quality of this First Classed Growth is the result of the unflagging attention devoted to its crafting. Extremely low yields foster the concentration of sugars. Each vat is stringently selected.
