William Chase gin has been two years in the making. It is a relaively unknown fact that gin is made out of vodka, so when we set out to make our fine gin we needed the perfect vodka. So after much experimenting, we have turned our organic cider apples, from our estate, into apple chase vodka & creted that into an elegantly crisps gin to make the perfect gin martini.
Each batched is passed twice through our copper pot & unique 70 foot column with 42 bubble plates before being finished in our pretty little Carter Head style still to give you a gin with tears and perfect pedigree. So you could say our gin has been distilled 100 times!
Our elegant crisp gin has been two years in the making as our aim was to make the best gin
in the world and to do this you need the best base spirit. Not many people know that you need vodka to make gin. After much experimenting we have made our organic cider apples, from our estate, into vodka and we have used this beautiful product to make our gin. Having been through our copper pot still and column, with 42 bubble plates, twice and then our pretty little Carter Head style gin still, the finished gin is distilled over 100 times.
Our gin is complicated. The taste is the true taste of junipers highlighted by the citrus and the sweetness of the apples, elderfowers and hops. It has a beautiful and textured mouth feel due to the luscious organic apples and the naturally pure water taken straight from the aquifer that runs underneath our orchards.
If drinking our gin with a tonic serve with a slice of apple to bring out the flavour. Our botanicals: Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Liquorice, Orris, Orange and Lemon peel, Hops, Elderflower and fresh Bramley apples.
