Description
This special bottling of Tomintoul (pronounced 'Tom-in-t'owl') has been aged for 33 years in the nest oak casks. It shows Hints of toffee and rum with cedary wood tones and a touch of fruity maltiness on the nose. The palate is round and soft with some sweetness and fruit and a suggestion of cinnamon and vanilla. A long mature and elegant finish.
The distillery is located near to the village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland in the prestigious Glenlivet Estate at the heart of the Speyside region.
