flowgomanic.wordpress.com: Their 18yr old (43%) is matured in sherry casks so I expected some rather rich flavours mixed with some a fruity edge, and I wasn’t far wrong. On the nose the strong aromas of dried fruit with a slight peat smell mixed with cinnamon hit your senses. The taste of the dried fruits became bolder, with a spicy wood smoke finish that lingered slightly. On its after-taste it gave a slight harsh tone but it soon mellows out into a nice finish.
