Description
The last in the Series of 'Icons of Arran' bottlings is the Golden Eagle distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2012 at 46% vol limited to 6000 bottles Worldwide.. Named after a pair of Golden Eagles, who nest in the mountains above Lochranza, have been an integral part of the Arran story since the Distillery was built in 1995 and feature on every bottle of The Arran Malt. This 1999 Distillation was drawn from a combination of Bourbon Barrels and Sherry Hogsheads specially selected by Distillery Manager, James MacTaggart. The Eagle is spectacular, powerful and yet graceful just like the Birds of Prey themselves.
