Inspired by this island; Virgin Gorda is a British Caribbean Rum blended from three British Caribbean Rums (Barbados, Trinidad & Jamaica) obtained from the distillation of fermented sugar cane molasses.
After distillation in pot-stills, the individual rums start their natural ageing process in old, American oak, bourbon barrels, before being blended. The average age of the blend is 7 years, including 20% of pure 8 year old rum.
Unlike most rums, Virgin Gorda is 100% natural, with no flavour, colour or aroma additives being used. Trinidad provides refreshing notes and vainilla characteristics. Jamaica adds body and a strong backbone from the molasses. Whilst Barbados provides the strongest woody, aged characteristics, being the oldest rum of the blend with 8 years ageing aswell as providing colour and density to the blend.

Nose:Beautifully intense with natural vanilla notes from the wood and creamy toffee aromas
Mouth:Full-bodied, with an initial sweetness followed by the rich bourbon-like toastiness of vanilla. Smooth and incredibly long.
