Glenrothes 1988 is of that rare breed. Never before bottled the Vintage has benefited from more than two decades maturing in a combination of Spanish and American oak; previously seasoned with both sherry and whisky. The combination gives the citrus notes a delicious cooked orange flavour and plenty of fruit as well which are evident on the nose and the palate.
