Description
The blackberry bush is a shrub belonging to the same family as the raspberry which we meet covered with thorns and clinging to hedges, bearing black berries. Known by the Ancient Greeks and the Romans, the blackberry was not discovered in Europe until the 19th century. Picked when they are ripe, the fruit is black, fleshy, shiny, very juicy and a little sharp. This impression is restored by Crme de Mre BRIOTTET which can be successfully served with white wines, crmants and champagnes
