- Agwa - a little wake up shot and great cocktails!!!!

Charlie Alexanders, FalmouthI saw that Agwa had won some awards and have starting hearing some chat about it in some of Falmouth's best bars so we tried a bottle, not knowing what to expect.
I did know about the "infamous" Coca Leaf after travelling in South America. It gives you a really good wake up when you chew it and the people of Bolivia and Peru practically live off the stuff. Agwa literature seemed to claim the same effects and, although we were dubious, it does give you a nice little lift as well as being a great tasting herbal liquor.
My friends and I are very very into our cocktails so we knocked a few up that are on the Agwa web site and played on our own too. They were really quite good. Would recommend the Basil one, sorry, can't remember the name.
All round, a nice new herbal liquor that had a little something extra about it. Also tasted good as a shot, when the night got later, tho we were partying till late with our new found Agwa energy!!!!
