Zlota Gorzka Vodka 40% 50cl
-
I live in UK and come from Poland and I love vodka :-). On one of my trips to Poland i went with my husband to our favorite bar in the whole wide world for a cocktail tasting session. The barmaids were very busy that night, serving us and trying to please us with variety of mixtures. All of them were delicious, but only one especially grabbed our attention!!! It was so simple yet so refreshing drink, that when we found it, we finished our night drinking that cocktail only. The mixture looks a bit off putting, especially if you don't like vegetables in your drink, I know scary, but trust me when you taste it you will love it. Well, shall I tell you the recipe then....
1 part of Gorzka vodka (or as much as you prefer)
ice cubes
few thin slices of cucumber
top it up with sprite
and that's it
enjoy

Amarula Cream Liqueur 17% 70cl
-
On the nose, a very light aroma of the exotic Marula fruit makes its way through your nostrils, with the taste almost bursting as it hits your throat. A sweet tang to it, it covers your palate nicely and gives off a slow release of Marula that lasts. This is a perfect serve over ice, but wouldn’t look out-of-place in a coffee, a B52 or even in a fruity Martini.

Agwa de Bolivia Coca leaf Liqueur 30% 70cl
-
I saw that Agwa had won some awards and have starting hearing some chat about it in some of Falmouth's best bars so we tried a bottle, not knowing what to expect.
I did know about the "infamous" Coca Leaf after travelling in South America. It gives you a really good wake up when you chew it and the people of Bolivia and Peru practically live off the stuff. Agwa literature seemed to claim the same effects and, although we were dubious, it does give you a nice little lift as well as being a great tasting herbal liquor.
My friends and I are very very into our cocktails so we knocked a few up that are on the Agwa web site and played on our own too. They were really quite good. Would recommend the Basil one, sorry, can't remember the name.
All round, a nice new herbal liquor that had a little something extra about it. Also tasted good as a shot, when the night got later, tho we were partying till late with our new found Agwa energy!!!!
