At last! I used to enjoy the occasional glass of that beautiful and complex spirit (whiskey with water or bourbon on the rocks)—until I chose to adopt a gluten free diet. So, with my little private bar irrationally edited, I sought out whiskeys that are made without wheat or barley. I tried corn whiskey first, but that's for the hard-core whiskey aficionado—and I just want a pleasant glass of sunshine after dark that doesn't burn my stomach. And I had trouble locating anything suitable in my corner of England—but Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey is the answer to my prayers. Now I can start making Manhattans for all my friends—and if my friends don't turn up because I gave them the wrong address, well, er, that's their problem. cheers!
