Description
Pastis Janot was founded in 1928 by Alfred Maunier, it is situated at the foot of Le Garlaban Mountain in the heart of Provence. The Lou Garagai is a Pastis made to a very old recipe created by the founder of Janot. Made from a secret blend of many plants and herbs, it is much more complex than other more ordinary pastis.
Very aromatic on the nose, with a deep mix of complex liquorice and anise, fresh fennel and spice. Multi- layered on the palate, the lighter anise seems to come first followed by the liquorice and last the hint of clove and cardamom. Finishes with a long but refreshing kick.
