The green bottle from Glen Scotia is a 16 years old distilled in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% vol. This is another in the distilleries new core range of multi coloured whiskies.It is deeper with subtle spice, initially sweet toasted malt, digestive biscuits and honey followed by oak and hint of cedar
Palate: a complex array of lemon, apricot, pear and ginger spice. A more textured and challenging mouth feel for this more mature whisky.
Finish: light vanilla sweetness enveloped in a dry toasted hazelnut flavour. An intriguing digestif.
