Description
The 2010 Macon Lugny "Les Genivres" is characterised by a pale yellow colour and an intense nose with notes of muscat. The mouth is ample and offers delicious aromas of exotic fruit, especially mango. Very beautiful spicy finish with a touch of ginger.
Maison Louis Latour rigorously selects grapes from the well-exposed commune of Lugny which was the only village planted with Chardonnay 30 years ago due to a perfect terroir. Lugny is one of the top vineyards in southern Burgundys Mconnais region, Mcon-Lugny Les Genivres is simply an outstanding wine. Opulent, rich, with a flowery bouquet and lovely honey, apple and nutty flavours on the palate.
