New bottling of Glenury Royal released by owners Diageo distilled in 1970 and bottled in late 2011 at 40 years old cask strength 59.4%vol. Glenury Royal is becoming extremley rare and this is one of 1500 bottles produced.

Glenury was named after picturesque Glen Ury, just north of the fishing port of Stonehaven.
One of the final distilleries still to be powered entirely by water, taken from the mill lade running beneath the length of the distillery.
Rebuilt in 1966, closed in 1985.
This powerful, richly golden and spicy malt has never been widely available and is almost never seen today, as the distillery has been silent for twenty-six years.
