Distillery Bottling from Glnacadam which is situtated about half a mile outside Brechin. The whisky is produced in two copper stills that have a unique feature in that their lye pipes run upwards at a 15degrtee angle rather than downwards as with most others stills. The belief is that this creates a mellower spirit that after aging yields a sweet and fruity malt. This 15 years old has been bottled at 46% and no chill-filtering to preserve the natural flavour and oils.. Pale golden in colour with a nose showing sweet and salty notes. The palate is malty with sweetness and cutgrass and gentle oak coming through to a medium length finish again with sweet malty barley.
