Description

Glencadam 10 years old received a very high award from 'Jim Murray in his Whisky Bible 2012' - 95/100, His Says' Crystal clarity to the sharp, ultra fresh barley; the intensity of the malt carries its own impressive weight and the citrus note compliments rather than thins'

Immediately zingy and eye-wateringly salivating with a fabulous layering of sweet barley.

Sophisticated, sensual, salivating and seemingly serene this malt just bristles with character and about as puckeringly elegant as single malt gets.

Lively, intense. Grassy freshness and citrus tones with hints of spicy oak.

Palate: Rounded elegance. Clean, crisp citrus tones. A pleasing harmony between a natural sweetness and the soft spicy oak.

Finish: Long and soothing. Rich, clean barley and gristy sweetness.

Customer Reviews

The antidote to peat!

If you like your whisky peaty and smoky then this one's not for you - unless you also like a whisky that's light, fresh, tangy and sweet - in which case you'll love it. A balance of citrus, heather honey, spice and a touch of oak. Perfect for drinking with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Trust me!
