They sleep under his watchful eye for many extra years until he decides the rum has been perfected according to the founder's original blend. The result is Cockkspur 12 years old - a unique blend of vintage rum for your enjoyment. Cockspur 12 years old contains the oldest rums we have on reserve at the distillery, the majority of these being 12 years and older. It has a beautiful sherry red, intense colour, with aromas that contain undertones of oak & short bread.It has a velvety smooth and deeply rounded taste, with tones of wood and earth accompanied by a prolonged spiciness.
