High in the hills of the Corbires, in a stunning corner of south west France, Chteau Trillol has been the Sichel family property since 1990. At 400m
above sea level, the vineyard is located in two of the Corbires terroirs: Termens and Quribus. Here the local grape varieties, Grenache, Syrah
and Carignan (harvested by hand), result in an authentic wine that is packed with character and a strong sense of place.
Chteau Trillol has won the Prix d'ExcellenceLanguedoc-Roussillon 2013 for the consistently high quality of its winesand its winegrowing and winemaking efforts as a whole.
The Concours Gnral Agricole de Paris is held during the International Agricultural Show, which is organised every year in Paris by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The Prix dExcellence are special distinctions within the CGA which reward men and women for the outstanding and consistent quality of their products and services over a number of years. With a presence in the south of France for more than 25 years, Chteau Trillol is especially proud to have been designated as the sole viticulturalist in the "Languedoc-Roussillon wines" category to deserve this distinction for 2013.
