The quality of the 1995 harvest was exceptional but the quantity was reduced by 30% as rain and hail in the spring affected the flowering. Fermentation progressed smoothly and in some cases lasted until the following March and April 1996!
A very important vintage with immense power and concentration of fruit fabulous colour and incredible ageing potential. An aromatic nose meaty and savoury with Christmas spices following through to a richly fruited palate, quite concentrated and complex with firm tannins and a long finish.
