Benromach Pedro Ximenez wood finish was distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2010. It has been finished in casks which previously held Pedro Ximenez sherry for 30 months. Pedro Ximenez is the sweetest of all the sherrys.
The result is a soft, fresh single malt whisky, with a pronouced touch of malt, rounded sweetness and delicate hints of ripe summer fruits. Subtle hints of vanilla and spice linger in the long mellow finish.
